The Yasawa group of Islands is located approximately 40 nautical miles from the mainland in Nadi.
 
There are four transfer options to get to Coconut Beach – you can take a scenic cruise onboard the Yasawa Flyer Catamaran, or a 30-minute seaplane flight that will fly at low altitude and showcase all the spectacular coral reefs and islands dotted along the way, or an exhilarating 25-minute helicopter transfer.  
 
Please review the information below to ensure your choice of transfer meets your connecting flight schedule.  If your time is limited and you want to maximise your island experience, the seaplane is the quickest option for transfers to and from Coconut Beach.

The Yasawa Flyer

The catamaran, operated by Awesome Adventures, departs Denarau Marina every morning at 8.45 am and arrives at Coconut Beach at approximately 1.30 pm. 

The scenic cruise will present some stunning islands up close as the vessel stops at most island resorts, collecting and dropping off passengers along the way.  

The catamaran departs Coconut Beach at approximately 1.30 pm every afternoon and arrives back at Denarau Marina in Nadi at approximately 6.00 pm.

Standard fare is F$200 per person one way, or F$260 per person one way in the Captain’s VIP Lounge.  The Captain’s Lounge includes morning or afternoon tea, complimentary snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine, free Wifi, and reserved seating in air conditioned comfort.

Pacific Island Air (From July 2024)

Pacific Island Air is conveniently located at Nadi Domestic Airport so you can easily check in for your seaplane transfer once you have cleared immigration.

The scenic flight from Nadi to Coconut Beach takes 30 minutes, transferring you from the airport to the lagoon area of Coconut Beach where our resort boat will pick you up straight from the seaplane.

Baggage allowance is 20kg per person plus hand luggage.  The cost per person one way can be confirmed directly with Pacific Island Air

Turtle Airways (Seaplane Charter)

Turtle Airways is located at Wailoaloa Beach, about 10 minutes from the airport.

Turtle Airways offer complimentary transfers from the airport or your hotel in Nadi to their seaplane base where you will depart on your seaplane adventure to Turtle Island which is just a short 5-minute boat ride away from Coconut Beach Resort.

Baggage allowance is 20kg per person plus hand luggage. The cost per person one way can be confirmed directly with Turtle Airways.

Blue Lagoon Nanuya Express

The Blue Lagoon Nanuya Express is a private boat service operated by Offshore Logistics. 

The boat departs from Lautoka, about 30 minutes from the airport, and comes straight up to Nanuya Island, just opposite Coconut Beach, where we pick you up in our resort boat to bring you over to the resort. 

The 10m twin-engine boat can only accommodate up to 16 passengers so seats are limited, and the journey takes around 2 hours.  The cost per person one way is F$150.

Helicopter Transfer

There are three helicopter companies serving the Yasawas : Pacific Island Air, Island Hoppers and HeliTours. Prices vary and start from around FJD780.00 pp for a one-way transfer. Please contact us for further information and updated rates for helicopter transfers.
